An ambitious sperm enters an unknown womb.
With flawless precision, Life unfolds.
A euphoric son learns to walk one step at a time.
A boy who never speaks keeps running all the while.
Compelling dreams that carry a childhood on it's wings.
A fire-breathing life without audience or applause begins.
There's anxious child sitting on the bedroom floor.
He's afraid of what lies tomorrow.
There's a boy down on his knees
behind a closed bathroom door. He weeps.
There's confined freedom and meaningless lore.
Innocence denied till it bleeds out of the pores.
A laughter learned to mask the pain inside.
A smile showcased to hide the secret shame
of being deprived.
There's the defeat of a sea fish caught in a net
that it can never breach.
There's a man who wants to know the meaning of life.
He's tired and older than his time.
There's a believer who's waiting for a sign.
A love that no one knows the reason why.
There's insidious insanity growing in bile.
There is distorted reality. Mirroring lies.
There's a stranger in the rain with his face to the skies.
A weary traveller standing in line waiting for a ride.
There's a glint that hides the fear in his eyes.
A soldier hesitates, unsure of his fight.
There's an unrelenting mind.
A soul that's restlessly still alive.
A body that decays in a six feet hole somewhere nearby.
These moments, trapped for eternity in black and white, will make an album of mine. I'll call it 'Life.'

namita, one of the saddest things in life that I believe, most of us, go through is the loss of innocence. The first touch of evil. Knowledge of sin. That is when the pain starts. Because man's natural state is that of innocence.
Trying hard to regain that lost innocence is the spiritual journey of life. That lost paradise!! :-))
Pain exists, not because of anything else, but of the awareness of defilement of one's spirit.

the child sitting on bedroom floor was afraid of what lies tomorrow ..............and the man ,the glint in whose eyes hide fear......now this fear is also the fear of unknown but due to what he has known .did i get it right ?
is there no way of taking things as they come .
except that euphoric son ...why even the smiles r to hide sadness .
journey of life certainly has some sparkles

The visuals these lines created are sad and touching. why? why? why?
I thought the childhood is always sweet.
