tatzzzzz wowww.. simplyyy spectacular.. lovedd d flow of words n how u told d story of a house thru d familyyyy.... amazinnnnnnn... these lines jst got stuck in my head..

Time went by,
heavens smiled,

ten little dreams
found wings to fly,

one by one,

they took to the skies

leaving two old souls,

and their home behind.

Thomas, haven't read that one. Personally, I don't think I can write poetry. It is great from of literature. I neither have the art nor the craft for it. :-) I think my verses are only half as good as my prose which is nothing to speak about to begin with!!! he...he.. but thanks. I accept your compliment with grace.

What do I do for a living? At the moment, I am at crossroads, wanting to know what I should for the rest of my life. I was in advertising before. :-)

soumya, do I sense bitterness there? :-) Why would you so categorically deny offsprings their pride? :-)

A well told tale!

Her two offsprings
who made it home
spoke of the weather
but never cried.

Law of nature!
Offsprings can never reciprocate the depth of affection that parents have for them.
