After reading all of this from u..i would part saying an seconding u that waiting gnaws in different ways in different circumstaces.....u got me thinking man!.....i will leave before i become unfit for human consumption....

Waiting is also accepting powerlessness. It is always a situation forced upon us, not a choice. Accepting it is accepting our helplessness. It is a humbling experience....ther is nothing bad in accepting that powerlessness once in a while..it makes us more aware of the power around...n acceptance when a humbling experiece at one hand why should it make one feel helpless.....hope i am talking in the rite spirit for u to understand......philosophy kuch jayada ho gayi!

electric, ah! you are here, my friend. :-)) I cannot predict as yet about what the future holds. The present only makes promising gestures at what could be. :-))

so... are you still waiting for whatever you were waiting for?

when is "and then the wait was over" coming up? :-)

rakhee, powerlessness can often make you feel 'helpless.' that is when wait becomes a real hell. :-)) for example, waiting to be served may not make you hate the wait as much as waiting for a biopsie report, yeah. :-))

I kinda feel the same about wait- Powerless… But, being powerless is at times good for our riding ego- it sets the things in the right perspective. If miracle has to happen, it will happen… when? let the wait decide… having said that, too much wait makes me lose interest in the wait itself…I hate feel powerless, so move on to the next big thing… ;-)
